Buitenplaats Beekhuizen

I spent a week here with my family and we enjoyed every minute. A beautiful place to stay. Thank you!

The restaurant serves good food, and the tent was clean, with nice rooms and hot water. It’s tucked into the woods, cool and breezy in summer. Nature lovers will enjoy it here. We’ll come back.

I had reserved a bush pod for one night, then needed to cancel just six days before the booking. The options I was given were to lose the full amount or pay substantial amendment fees within a short deadline. I was very disappointed with that lack of flexibility. I can’t comment on the location or rooms, but I’d advise people to check the terms carefully before booking.

They charged me an extra 35 euros for checking in an hour early. The check-in time is 15:00, which already feels late given that checkout is at 8:00. When I asked about arriving early, they said I was welcome but didn’t mention a fee. I only got charged at checkout. This was really disappointing. Please tell customers beforehand that early check-in costs that much. Some people might just decide to arrive at the regular time. A horrible experience!
