The check-in and service were the worst I've ever experienced. There was nobody at the desk and nobody answered my calls. My friends had arrived earlier and let me into their room, but they had a different room. Without them, I would've been stuck without a room, late at night in pouring rain. After about half an hour, someone finally picked up and sent us to a nearby hotel to collect my keys. We had to go back out into the rainstorm; nobody from the hotel came over. The next morning, the person at the desk claimed he had been there the whole time and had tried to call me. That wasn't true.

The food was old and badly presented, and the restaurant owner had no basic manners, acting as if he owned the whole country. The staff were extremely rude, unfriendly, and unwilling to serve us. It felt like they only wanted Dutch people in the restaurant. If they don't want people of color there, they should say so outside. I would never recommend this restaurant.

Good value, with a clean, very small room and a decent shower. Breakfast was included, and I liked the little touch of being able to cook your own eggs in your own small pan.

I ended up needing a room here unexpectedly for one night. The hotel is a little dated, but for the price it's good. The receptionist was very friendly and understanding, and helped me with everything I needed. That was great.

I've never seen service this bad. My wife urgently needed the toilet and was ready to pay, but the receptionist was rude and gave the ridiculous answer, "we are too full”. Full of what, toilets? I've never come across service like that in the Netherlands. Shame on you!
