The hosts made us feel at home and let us enjoy the whole place. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had a lovely en-suite bathroom. The place is surprisingly superb, with a quirky charm. Breakfast was fantastic: boiled eggs, fresh bread, homemade jam, cold meat and cheese, plus yoghurt topped with oats, blueberries, and cinnamon. So tasty, especially with old fashioned music playing from an old radiogram. The lady of the house had some lovely stories to share too. On Sunday we also got homemade pancakes with maple syrup.

We stayed with family from 16 to 21 June 2024 and all had a lovely time. The owner really went out of her way to make things comfortable and enjoyable. Breakfast was luxurious, with bottomless coffee. The bedrooms are basic, but the beds are comfortable, the bedding and towels were clean, and the bathrooms were spacious and very clean. I’d highly recommend it.

A relaxing, friendly place to stay, conveniently close to the centre of Venray. The Farmers Daughter serves a huge continental breakfast with lots of choice.

I had a very comfortable stay. Before I arrived, the friendly owner emailed me useful bus advice, and even drove me to the sports complex I was visiting. Breakfast was generous and tasty, and there was always coffee available.

A great property, very clean, with a nice, friendly, and helpful owner. They arranged dinner for us, and the three dish menu was excellent and tasty. Breakfast was very plentiful too. In the morning, we even got a lift to Swolgen (Pieterpad).
