Hotel Restaurant 'de Vossenberg'

The dinner was a highlight, especially the paella, which I loved. Our room was good and the bed excellent. The hotel itself was cozy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I'd rate it 4.5 stars if I could :-)

I’m reviewing the restaurant rather than the hotel. We had the hert trio, which was tasty and came in a good-sized portion. The staff were friendly and efficient. It’s right in the center of Vierhouten, so easy to reach if you’re staying nearby, and it seemed to be the only place where you don’t need a reservation. A small, cozy spot worth stopping at when you’re in town.

I stayed for three days while attending a training, and the staff’s warmth really stood out. When a screw came loose from my glasses, one of the women helped me with a small rope until I could fix them. I haven’t had that kind of help at other hotels. The setting was lovely too. If you need somewhere to stay and have time, come here, settle by one of the fireplaces, and order a beer called Victoria.

The room was clean, though on the small side, and the bathroom was cold with no heating and cold tile floors. Noise carried in from the hallway and neighboring rooms, so the sound insulation could be better. Still, I had a great stay and the location was good.
