Lucky Lake Hostel

It felt like hanging out at home with a big group of friends, relaxing and having a good time. This place is a hippie paradise, and I love the kind of accommodation they offer. I’ll always stay here for a few nights whenever I visit Amsterdam. A+++!

The lake is amazingly gorgeous, though I didn’t make it over there until my last day. This is a lovely hostel with the cutest cabins and caravans, and the staff are all lovely too. The shuttle to and from the train or metro station makes it fairly easy to get there. Definitely recommend it. Just know that smoking is allowed throughout the hostel except inside the rooms.

The quiet and charm made the trip worthwhile, even though Amsterdam is a bit far. You need to take the €1 shuttle and then a metro or train. It’s a colorful place where you meet people from all over, and the staff are especially friendly and helpful. The caravans are cute and practical. You can have breakfast in the yellow bus, feed the ducks, watch a movie in the smallest cinema in the world, or relax in a hammock.

Such a pretty, photogenic place, and worth the price. The facilities were clean and easy to get to, and the staff were really friendly and patient, even when helping us with little things. They also provide a free shuttle bus. Best hostel I’ve ever stayed in, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Netherlands.
