The staff were brilliant and even put together a breakfast box for my early departure. The place is well cared for and close to the port. I’ll stay here whenever I’m in vlissingen.

Coffee and tea are available without limit right in the corridor by your door, and the supermarket is about a five-minute walk away, handy if you want a vegan breakfast. The hotel felt welcoming, was very clean, and was great value.

The staff were great, and there’s a lovely back terrace with good pears. The rooms are nice, though some can be noisy, and you can get a great (irish) coffee here. It’s close to everything, with public paid parking nearby. One catch: reception shuts after 6pm, and there’s no obvious entrance, so finding your way into the maze-like hotel for the first time can feel like a reverse escape room.

The location was fine and the staff were friendly, but the shower and sink barely had any pressure. The room was very cold when we arrived because the heating was off. It took hours to warm up, and nights were still chilly. The dog fee was the worst part for us: €18 a day, and it wasn’t clearly labelled on the external booking site. I’ve never paid that much for a dog, especially without any extra benefits. I’d only recommend staying here if nothing else is available.
