The breakfast was basic but had enough to get the day started. My room was clean and perfectly fine for a night's sleep, even though the hotel feels old. Check-in was easy, and I got a room on the top floor. There's a free bottle of water, but no coffee or tea in the room, which would've been appreciated. The bigger issue for a work trip is that in March the lobby and breakfast area don't open until 8 a.m., so there's nowhere to get an early coffee if you're up to work. My company booked the stay, so I didn't know what to expect or what the hotel's policies were. The location is right beside the sea and Boulevard, which is great. I didn't get a sea view, but if you can, it seems worth it. Clean and simple, fine for one night.

The staff were so attentive, and we had a lovely time on the balcony. We were lucky with the weather this weekend, and the sea view from our room was wowww. It's an old hotel, sure, but we were only staying one night. The mattress really needs an upgrade, though. Way too soft.

The sea view was lovely, though the waitresses looked exhausted. The restaurant meal was a letdown. I paid 17€ for a vegetarian burger, but it was just a bun with a patty and a little sauce, no tomato, salad, or anything else in the burger. The bun was soggy and unpleasant from the salad dressing. There was salad and fries on the plate, but I wanted a proper burger. Not what I expected.

The hotel was terribly noisy, with staff slamming doors early in the morning. The restaurant was questionable too. I ordered the fishrolls, and the fish was completely dry, served with a muddy sauce and vegetables boiled until they were jelly.

Nothing odd or special about the hotel, it's just okay. I'm having a nice time here, and we're really enjoying the weather and the activities.
