Just what you need for a night, a good hotel.

From the street, the hotel looks outdated, but inside we were surprised. The restaurant area is chic, clean, and everything looks brand new. We enjoyed the sauna, and the breakfast spread was plentiful. The pool water was a comfortable temperature, and the area around it was very clean. You can shower and change there, and towels are provided. There's also a tanning bed guests can use for free. Our family room for three had a large patio overlooking the hotel parking area. The only awkward thing was the narrow space between the bathroom and main door, so be careful opening the door. We really enjoyed our stay and would like to come back sometime.

The staff deserve a lot of credit. They were helpful, friendly, and professional, and I don't know how they managed to work with the music so loud. I hope they had earplugs. They have our utmost respect. We had Christmas dinner here with our family in 2023, after also coming in 2022, so we thought we knew what to expect. This time it was a buffet instead of seated dining. There was plenty of tasty food, plus an artist singing and playing guitar live. It sounds nice, but the volume made normal conversation impossible. I started getting a headache and lost my appetite. The sound was unbelievably loud, and frankly unacceptable. My headache took a while to go away after we left. Please lower the volume next time. It can make or break the whole meal. That's why I'm giving the Christmas 2023 dinner three stars. This is just our own experience, and other customers may have felt differently. It's an honest review, not an attempt to bash anyone. There's room to improve for next year.
