It’s good value, especially with prices in Holland these days. The place is handy for the university, and there’s a direct bus to the train station. Town is a 40-minute walk, or you can take the bus. If you’ve brought running shoes, woodland tracks start almost straight away to the east. The rooms are large and very comfortable, with excellent beds, clean bathrooms, and a small private garden for each one. Breakfast was excellent too, and the hosts made us feel very welcome.

The breakfasts were very good, with organic food grown locally, and our room was very clean and had all the essentials. It’s a beautiful, relaxing place with a cozy, traditional feel. A couple of things could be more practical: a shelf for toiletries in the shower and somewhere in the room to put smaller clothes. The little bedside tables look cute, but aren’t useful at all.

I spent a week here and had a great time. The room was clean and really spacious, breakfast was very healthy, and getting to the university was easy, just a 10-minute trip. I’d definitely stay again.

We walked to Wageningen using the path behind the property, which took about 40 minutes. The owners were always around to help, and always smiling. The landscape is lovely, with chickens, sheep, and horses, and the evening fog makes it feel like a fairytale. Our room was cozy and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious and filling. There were boiled eggs, toast and other breads, jam, cheeses, and different kinds of ham. The fresh homemade orange juice was such a treat. What a lovely stay, we’ll definitely come back and recommend it to others heading this way.

The woman in charge was friendly and very nice. When we asked for advice about the city, she gave us useful practical tips. We had a great stay, and I’ve included the view from our room. We’ll recommend the place to friends and would certainly stay again.
