We spent a week here in October as a group of 20, and there was something for everyone. I especially enjoyed having a proper restaurant-style kitchen downstairs, including a professional dishwasher, plus a coffee machine and bar. You could also just stay in and play board games. The owners, who live in the other half of the house, were welcoming and friendly. The place is in a quiet, green area that's good for walks or bike rides, with a bakery nearby for a morning stroll. Families have Mind Mystery museum and Taurus World close by, and Venlo, Albert Heijn, Lidl and the German border are all about a 15-minute drive away. The two-person bedrooms are lovely, with either a shower or a bathtub. There's a sauna too, though we didn't get around to trying it because we were out exploring each day. Yoga and fitness rooms are right next to it. Thanks for having us at your cozy place!

We had a really warm, familiar welcome, and the owners were so friendly. The rooms have a nice Dutch country-house feel. The owner even helped us out in the middle of the night, and without him we would have missed our flight. Such a lovely place to stay, highly recommended.

Our car broke down, so we had to pull into their parking lot, and Arno and Mariella were immediately so kind and helpful. The place looked immaculate, with a beautiful renovation in a building dating from the 15th or 16th century, and the coffee was great. I haven't actually stayed there yet, but if I were touring the area, this is just the kind of place I'd want to stop and rest.

We had breakfast at B&B De Grote Waaij, and there was plenty to enjoy. The homemade peanut butter was especially good, and the jams and chocolate spread are worth trying too. The welcome was lovely, and the thoughtful little details make the place feel beautiful and cared for. We stayed after visiting the Enchanted Gardens in Arcen ✨ and would choose it again for a summer visit to the gardens ❣️
