The couple running the place were very friendly, and the atmosphere felt private and welcoming. We liked chatting with locals and feeling like we were staying with them, much more than being in an impersonal hotel. Our spacious apartment had tasteful, high-quality furnishings and even a small infrared sauna, which was great for warming up after our rainy bike ride. They welcomed us warmly and let us store our bikes. Breakfast was delicious, served downstairs in the kitchen overlooking a lovely garden, which we were also allowed to explore.
