The friendly staff made a real difference, and breakfast was very good, fresh, and plentiful. My room was clean and modern, though the place felt more like a motel than a hotel, which could suit someone looking for a more accessible, informal stay. There's construction underway, and I ran into a few small inconveniences: no dustbin in the room, and so few power sockets that I had to move the fridge to plug in the water cooker. Despite those issues, the rooms were comfortable, and the service and breakfast already make the Biesbosch Hotel in Drimmelen promising. I'm looking forward to returning when the work is finished.

The hotel is really new, and I liked my room. Heating comes from the air conditioning, which was a little noisy. Breakfast and dinner are in a separate building about 200 meters away.

Set in a marina, the hotel serves an amazingly generous breakfast at the table, and the staff were kind. The room was clean and quiet at night, with a bathroom and a water heater, plus coffee and tea. The rooms are quite unusual. Mine had steel doors, a steel night table, and a steel wardrobe. Some rooms look out over the marina.

The marina view was fantastic, and the room was immaculate. We hadn't expected an upgrade, but got one for some reason, and it really raised the bar for what we expect. Quite a few places nearby were closed, though the restaurant across the marina was lovely too.

Slept like a baby in those fantastic beds. The hotel is in a quiet spot, and there are some nice restaurants within walking distance too. Really nice place.
