The gardens and the rooms are lovely, and the restaurant and bar are just as nice. We spent two nights here and the owners took great care of us. They lent us bicycles for free, which made it easy to see the nearby sights and the town centre. Other hotels charge for a few hours' use. We'd happily come back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A tasty, generous breakfast, plus a restaurant, bar and beer garden on site. There are several kinds of rooms, chalets and accommodation for four. Winterswijk and the surrounding area are lovely to explore by car, on foot or by bike. 😋🚲

Nieuw Beusink has a good range of local and Belgian beers in its common room, where my colleague and I had a great time sampling them while doing some late night deploys over the wifi. The rooms are comfortable and decorated with art by the maître d'hôtel, which is available to buy if you like. Tucked away in a corner of the 'back corner', the building has been a stable, a party center and now a boutique hotel, and the common room is called the 'Wenters proeflokaal'.
