I didn't stay at Hotel Workum, so I can't speak to the rooms. I was travelling with Boat and Bike tours and, as a Brompton Cyclist, stopped in for coffee and a slice of the world's most delicious apple pie. The serving area was spotless, the staff were friendly and efficient, and that pie was amazing. Definitely worth a visit!

The location is really nice, close to the water and 'city' center, and the rooms were clean. They felt a bit outdated and plain, though, and the breakfast choices were limited. Reception had limited staff presence. You can store bikes in the boat house, but lunch and dinner aren't available. The place looks a bit like a youth hostel.

We had a great lunch by the canal, with outdoor seating, a cold beer and a really good club sandwich. The service was friendly too.

An exceptional Hotel in a peaceful spot on the canal, with boats passing by and a nice outdoor terrace. The staff were super friendly. I'd give it 6 stars if I could, lol.
