The owner was easy to reach and replied quickly, which was a plus. The apartment and rooms look nice in the photos and are spacious, but ours felt a bit old and dirty. The oven also took an unusually long time to heat up. The location matches the description, about 15-20 minutes from the train station. You have to cross a river by bridge, and when a boat passes the bridge rises, so you can be left waiting.

The host was friendly and quick to respond. The apartment is well equipped and conveniently located near the train station, so we’d recommend it.

It’s a self-catering apartment, so don’t expect services, though they do provide some information about the area. The train ride to central Amsterdam takes about 20 minutes, and the station is around a 10-minute walk away. A good option if you want to visit Amsterdam and don’t mind that walk.

For a one-night stay like ours, it was fine. The place was hard to locate and not really visible, partly because there was no sign. The rooms were quite dirty, especially the shower, microwave, and floor.
