The rooms were spacious and clean, and there's a coffee machine in the room. A shop is nearby, as is a pizza vending machine that's open 24/7. Free parking and the windmills and attractions are close too. Check-in was a bit awkward, but it's a nice enough place for one night or a short stay.

The view outside was lovely, and the room was clean and pleasant. We stayed two nights after booking through Expedia. When we came back late on the second night after leaving early that morning, the sheets and bathroom had been taken care of, which was nice. There was a fridge, AC, and coffee maker. I just wish there'd been bottled water for guests arriving after the shops had closed, especially if they're not from the area. Getting in with the digital passkey was confusing when we arrived around midnight in the rain. A clearer instruction like “press to open x door” would be easier than “sliding the arrow.” The toilet had no ventilation. The pillows were split into two huge pillows, and I couldn't sleep comfortably with them, so I ended up sleeping without any support.

There was no receptionist, and we waited more than two hours to get checked in. My daughter and I were bitten by insects overnight and had to take medication to calm the skin inflammation. The room we got was very small and dirty, in a different building from the one shown on the website. This was the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in, and the experience became my worst travel memory. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We never stayed, but Booking.com said a refund had been started and it still hasn't been processed. Now the hotel denies responsibility. We had booked two rooms through Booking.com, and the confirmation only gave 32 Lagedijk. When we arrived, one room was actually at Guisweg 29, across two streets and a major intersection. That separate address wasn't disclosed, and there were no signs or staff. At night our digital keys didn't work, and calls went unanswered. My family, including three children, was stranded. Another family ended up sleeping in their car and a hallway. This felt deceptive and unsafe, well beyond poor service.
