Beach House Zandvoort

We had been looking forward to our trip, but the travel warning meant we couldn’t go because we would have had to quarantine afterward. They wouldn’t allow a free cancellation and wanted 90% as the cancellation fee. I suggested either a voucher or paying just 50% of the cancellation costs, but neither was accepted, and they stopped replying to my messages. I understand they would lose money too, but I felt 50% would have been fair to both sides. It’s a shame the money is gone. If travel to Zandvoort becomes possible again, I’ll avoid this accommodation. In times like these, a little flexibility or help would have been the humane thing to do.

The location was brilliant, and the staff were super friendly. Our room was a little small for a longer stay, but just right for one or two nights.

The relaxed atmosphere, tasty coffee, and bright, clean rooms made for a lovely stay. The hotel is stylish and right by the sea, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was decent, though I wanted more cereal and seeds to choose from. The price felt too high for the service. With a wellness area included, the hotel would feel perfect and the price would make more sense.
