Being close to the sea was the one good thing about this stay. The room hygiene was disgusting and disappointing, especially for the price. Long hairs were all over the bathroom, sink, and closet, there was dust everywhere, and the windows were so dirty we could barely see through them. The bathroom smelled musty, and ours smelled like poo the whole time, which made us feel nauseous. There was also a large hole in the corner of the damaged shower where mold was growing. Sound insulation was extremely poor, so we heard every step and noise from the stairs and other rooms. The reception was closed, and there were no breakfast options. We didn’t expect much at this price, but the poor cleanliness and lack of facilities left us very disappointed.

For what I paid, I’m satisfied. The sitting area was nice, though the rooms need a little attention: small things like windows that don’t close properly, water on the balcony, and sockets that need fixing. The owner should also have a POS machine so guests can pay by card.

The room wasn’t warm enough for my husband and me. The owner was understanding about it and refunded the full amount, which is why I’m giving three stars.

A basic room, but good value for the money. There’s a nice lounge and the staff are friendly.
