We first stayed at Buddha Beach Bungalows in May 2022, then returned in August 2024 for the Dutch Grand Prix weekend. The owners are super nice and do a lot to make you comfortable. During the GP weekend, when Zandvoort was pretty much locked down and closed to traffic, they helped us out a lot. Thanks again for the hospitality. I’m sure we’ll be back. The location is incredible, with amazing views from the couch or the table. You might not even need the TV. I travel with a Chromecast or Roku Stick so I don’t have to set up streaming services everywhere, and both worked fine on the WiFi. The WiFi is only for your bungalow and works really well. These are basically bigger tiny houses, but absolutely enough for two people. The bathroom is small, though it has a full shower and toilet. They’re right on the sandy beach, so sand gets inside whenever you open a door or window, especially in the strong winds we had that GP weekend. Be careful and it’s fine. We swept through the bungalow every day with the cleaning equipment provided. There was plenty going on while we were there, but the bungalows kept out a lot of noise from the other beach clubs and the party on the Boulevard, so it was pretty quiet inside. The AC also does a good job cooling the place even when it’s very hot. The bungalows were among the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed, even compared with 4*+ hotels. The beds are a little short for taller people, but fairly comfortable, and better than beds in some 4*+ hotels we’ve stayed in recently. The kitchen has everything needed to cook for a couple of days, and we cooked every night on both visits without any problems.
