Roompot Zandvoort

We hadn’t booked, but just walked in, bought something from the reception, where the staff were nice, and left. The modern Roompot park actually looks quite nice. F1-course ‘Circuit Zandvoort’ is very close, and you can hear everything around the course.

We spent a weekend with friends at Roompot Zandvoort. The bungalows had what we needed for a relaxed break, including a well equipped kitchen, outdoor seating, and sufficient amenities. The staff were exceptionally friendly and gave us local suggestions for beach restaurants, racing events, and a very tasty, reasonably priced breakfast at their local shop. The location is brilliant: cross the road and you’re at the beach, on a less crowded side of Zandvoort, though the touristy part is just a five-minute walk away. The raceway is also right there. Parking was excellent, with their own lot and the option to load and unload by the bungalow. Amazing experience, and a huge thanks to the staff for making the stay so memorable!

This was by far the dirtiest place we’ve ever stayed, completely unacceptable and unfit for guests. We left as soon as we arrived and had to find somewhere else at extremely short notice, which put us in a very difficult position. The apartment was filthy, with spilled liquids, dead flies, and neglect throughout. It was revolting and nothing like the listing photos. Given the high price, we had reasonably high expectations, but the reality was the opposite. Communication with the host Airbnb (Belvilla) was deeply disappointing. They ignored specific questions and sent only generic, unhelpful replies. We felt no understanding or consideration for us as a family, even after raising serious concerns. After we left, several locals confirmed that the place is known for being dirty and low quality. We strongly advise others to avoid Roompoot Zandvoort.

The racetrack next door can be noisy, so this place probably isn't for you if that bothers you. Still, it's a nice spot for a short break. The beds could be more comfortable.
