For the price, this is a great place to stay and I'd recommend it if you're after something affordable. There's a sauna, a small pool and a good restaurant, so you get your money's worth. It isn't five-star luxury, of course, but it earns five stars for what you pay.

The staff were really friendly and welcoming, parking was available, and there's a nice pub next door for when the restaurant shuts early. The rooms are large and modernized, and the bathroom was clean and updated. The shower pressure was too weak to wash my hair properly, though, which was annoying. There were mosquitoes all over the room, so bring a fly swatter. The coffee machine was a little dirty, but worked once I'd cleaned it.

Breakfast was fine for us, though I wouldn't pay €18 for it if it weren't part of the offer. The bed was softer than I like, but I was glad to find two spare pillows. The room itself was nice, but the cupboard had no fridge. It feels like the price has gone up while service has gone down. In the small hours, we heard some beastie scratching away, either in the roof above the room or out on the balcony.

Nature is right outside, and the location is fantastic. The rooms are fairly simple, but that matters much less when the people here make you feel so welcome. They really breathe hospitality. I've stayed several times and will definitely be back.
