The chalet felt like home as soon as we arrived. It’s a lovely little place, thoughtfully decorated and equipped with what you need. Even when it’s warm outside, the quiet built-in air conditioning keeps it comfortable. Sandra was wonderfully helpful throughout, and the breakfast she served was hard to beat. We’ll happily return, this B&B really deserves its five stars.

The location made getting around easy: Rotterdam is reachable from a park-and-ride with tram connections a short drive away, and Gouda is convenient by car, with a quick train ride onward to Rotterdam. The rural setting itself was peaceful, though you can sometimes hear planes approaching Rotterdam Airport in the mornings and evenings. We still slept well. We stayed three nights as a couple and felt relaxed and very welcome. The host greeted us warmly and gave us clear instructions. Our accommodation was a spacious wooden garden house with a living and dining area, bedroom, bathroom, and veranda, plus parking right by the house. It was nicely equipped and a great place to unwind, especially with such a comfortable bed. Breakfast arrived fresh each morning in a box, with a good mix of treats: muesli and yogurt, bread and rolls, fruit, and more. We really enjoyed our stay at B&B Zevenhuizen and would gladly recommend it.
