S&A Vondel Park Hotel

Sunny at reception made a real difference to my stay. She was warm, friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived, always smiling and professional, and ready to answer my questions. It's been a long time since I've had such genuine, high-quality service. The hotel is close to the city center but still quiet and peaceful. My room met all my expectations, with a tea and coffee machine and an iron. It was cleaned every day and kept well organized. I'd definitely choose this hotel again if I return to Amsterdam, and highly recommend it.

The lobby looks nice, but the rooms are very basic. The location is great, though I'd only recommend treating this hotel as somewhere to lay your head. I left with numerous bed bug bites despite the daily room service. On two mornings, hotel staff barged into my room without knocking, even though it wasn't my check-out date. They didn't apologize for waking me rudely.

Sunny made our weekend stay especially nice, always helpful and so welcoming. The room was cozy, lovely, and clean, and the location was just perfect 🌟☺️💫

Restaurants, coffee shops, and major stores like Hermes and Luis Vuitton are just around the corner, and the large park is only a four-minute walk away. The tram is about eight minutes on foot, and both the Van Gogh museum and Rijk museum are close enough to walk to. It’s a great spot for shopping and getting around. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the service was great. I used public transport, so I can’t say what parking is like.
