Trianon Hotel

The 24-hour reception was really convenient for arriving late or leaving early, and I could keep my valuables in the room safe without worrying about them. My room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped for the price. Buses and trams are only a short walk away, so getting around the city was easy. I’ve stayed here several times and had a great experience each time. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and make you feel welcome straight away.

The town has cats everywhere, which is so cute, I’m amazed. This is a pretty place, conveniently close to some vintage fashion shops, and the staff are warm and welcoming. The room heater worked well, and most of the outlets were fine. The ones above the bedside table didn’t work.

For the price, this is great value, and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a simple place to stay. The location made getting around easy, with public transport, restaurants, and the main attractions nearby. My room was basic but clean and comfortable, with what I needed for a short visit. The staff were friendly and helpful, happy to answer questions and share local tips.

I was apprehensive about staying here, but after the visit I’d probably come back for €50 a night. We had a six-person room with a balcony, and for the price and location we were very happy with the room quality and hotel service. It was cleaner than expected. We inspected carefully on arrival and didn’t find bed bugs, after calling the hotel and Booking.com and being assured the issue had been dealt with. There was a suspicious mark on the underside of one mattress, and I spotted a few small ants on the wall.
