Villa Envie

Just perfect.

The Sneekermeer room gave us a beautiful view, and having our boat tied up at Villa Envie's own jetty was ideal. The place is right on the water, with a peaceful garden, a balcony, and lounge sofas outside. Hans and Brigit made us feel welcome from the start with their warm, genuine hospitality. We also loved the three-course breakfast each morning, served in the morning sun. It was fresh and full of flavor, and you can tell they enjoy cooking and looking after their guests. Everything felt calm and high quality. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely return.

We felt at home right away. The older hosts were kind and friendly, and they welcomed our dog just as warmly as they welcomed us. The whole stay was a pleasure, and we'd highly recommend it. Our room was modern and thoughtfully furnished. The terrace looked over a private boat dock, which gave it a special feel. The rain shower and whirlpool in the bathroom were real highlights and wonderfully relaxing. Breakfast wasn't a standard buffet. Each day brought a different, varied selection, presented with care. Nothing was missing, though a little jam might have finished it off perfectly. When the weather was good, we ate outside on the breakfast terrace among the well-kept plants, looking out over the dock.

We stayed in the Sneekermeer Room and Koepel Room, both lovely and spacious, with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. The Koepel Room's luxurious bathroom was in the hallway, just as described, and that was no problem. There was also a sunny terrace and well-stocked refrigerators. Hans and Brigit spoiled us with a delicious three-course breakfast every morning, a real feast on the plate. Hans was always ready with helpful ideas for outings in Friesland. The B&B sits in a peaceful, beautiful spot with a fantastic view of the water, and all of it made for a complete holiday.
