Hotel Dupuis

The owner is a real people person: accommodating, helpful with any problems, and keen to hear feedback so things can be better for the next group. Our school group of 40 had a great week here. The location in Valkenburg is handy for the bowling and town center, all within walking distance. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and all the conveniences worked well, especially the great showers. It was useful to have the pupils in small areas so they were easy to keep an eye on in the evenings. There was also a brilliant social area downstairs where pupils could play cards, sit and chat, buy soft drinks, play table football, or use the pool table. We even held a staff and pupil pool competition, and the atmosphere was great. I’d recommend it to teachers arranging school groups in Valkenburg. It’s nicer than the other hotels we’ve used there in the past.

My partner has visited Valkenberg twice before, but this was my first time at the hotel and in the town. I was impressed with both. The hotel is quiet, pleasant, and well placed for the town. It’s a small family-run business, and they work hard to make guests feel welcome and enjoy their stay. It’s not the Hilton, though Hilton isn’t always as good as people think. This place really is good. The rooms are tidy and clean, just right if you’re planning to explore. The bar has a cozy, intimate feel. I’ll be back to both the town and this hotel.

The location near the train station is really convenient, and the staff are so friendly. It’s a cozy, clean hotel for a fair price. I’d definitely recommend it.

There’s no elevator, and the hotel has three floors. The room was OK, breakfast was free, and the staff were very kind. Good location, too.
