Parking at the hotel was the one drawback for me. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the area. The building is a charming old monastery, right in the heart of town, so it was easy to get around on foot. Self check-in and checkout were quick and simple, and opening the room with the key access through WhatsApp worked easily.

The staff were friendly and helpful the whole time, and the room was clean, roomy and really comfortable. It’s a lovely hotel in a great spot for exploring Valkenburg. I’d happily recommend it.

The restaurant served amazing, top-quality food. My room had plenty of space, and housekeeping came daily. The staff were friendly and the rooms clean. My travel agent booked me for three nights. I did find the room had no refrigerator, and although there was a safe, it was loose in the cupboard and could easily be taken away.

A former church and convent makes this hotel feel quite unusual and unique. The service was very nice, the beds were comfortable, and there were some interesting, almost heavenly details.

We came for the Christmas market and had a great time. The rooms are very generously sized, and it’s about a five-minute walk to the centre of Valkenburg.
