Bed and Breakfast Hattem

There's free street parking, and the town centre is about a 700-metre walk away. Cycling junction 60 is roughly 250 metres from the B&B. The room was clean and fully furnished, with a lovely bathroom. Bikes can be kept under cover in a locked storage area. Coffee and tea in the room were free, and breakfast was full of organic local products.

I spent three nights on my own at B&B Hattem and really enjoyed the stay. The spacious room was tastefully decorated and wonderfully quiet. Hattem's centre is within walking distance, which was handy in the rainy weather. Bikes are free to borrow, though I didn't use them because of the rain. Breakfast comes by appointment on a cart, and you can take it whenever you like. Since I don't eat cheese, they gave me a freshly boiled egg each day. The homemade jam was delicious, and there was unlimited Nespresso, a milk frother and several kinds of tea. I also appreciated having plates and cutlery in the room, so I could eat there instead of going out alone. A great choice for a few nights away while exploring Hattem or the surrounding area.

A lovely, generous breakfast was brought by the host, and there was plenty of tourist information plus a roomy coffee and tea corner. We stayed two nights and got a very friendly welcome. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and nice sitting area, and the bathroom was roomy as well. There's a private entrance. We could keep our bikes in a locked area and charge them there if needed. The garden was available to guests, though the weather wasn't suitable for using it. It was easy to park nearby, and there are lovely cycling routes from here, including routes to places like Zwolle. Highly recommended.

The hosts were friendly and happy to answer questions or suggest excursions. Two little dachshunds are part of the family, but they're quiet and sweet, not barky. Bikes are available if you haven't brought one, and the Netherlands' well-developed cycle paths are a lovely way to take in the scenery. The place is close to the centre while still being peaceful. If a good breakfast matters to you, this is a great choice.
