Take the walk up to Fjellstua for the amazing view of Ålesund. The place is close to everything, and we had a lovely weekend stay in Kirkegata. Rolf was a great host, and the rooms were clean and nice, with everything we needed in the house. There was some street noise when the nearby cafe closed, but earplugs took care of it. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The host replied quickly whenever I messaged, and the location made it easy to get around Ålesund. The shower and toilet were great. There's a shared space with a couch and coffee, though it wasn't clear that guests could use it. The bedroom still feels like an office, and it needs work to make it comfortable. The sheets and pillows were like family heirlooms, really old.

Good value for the price. The host was polite and very helpful, and the room was clean and spacious. Everything was excellent!

We were halfway through our trip, so having a washer and dryer was great for getting our clothes clean. The place has a full kitchen, though we only used it to make coffee. Ours was gate 3. Highly recommended.
