I had a horrendous stay and wasn't offered any compensation. The restaurant ceiling leaked, with buckets set out to catch the water. My room smelled like an ashtray, and I was refused a room change four days in a row. The showerhead was caked with years of lime and grime, and the bed sagged into a U shape so I could feel the springs in my back. The couch had nasty stains, as shown in the pictures I added. The food was dry, undercooked, and nearly inedible. Do not visit.

Right downtown, close to the local attractions, and the center itself is picturesque. This cosy little hotel seemed recently renovated. The rooms were nice, with soft, warm beds, and the cafeteria and lounge were lovely. The food was good, and the staff were super friendly.

I stayed one night at the Verdal Hotel in early September 2018. The staff were very friendly, and my room was clean and spacious. I slept well, and breakfast was good and adequate. I found a free parking spot right in front without any trouble.

The location in downtown Verdal was absolutely perfect. The staff were great, the rooms quaint, and the food amazing. I really hope I can stay here again when I return to Norway.

The staff were extremely friendly and gave us great tips about the area. I left my jacket behind, and they took it to the train station so it could be sent back to me. That was far beyond what I expected from a good hotel. Thank you!
