Our pitch had electricity, and with public toilets and bathrooms available I didn't need to use the campervan facilities. It's a lovely campsite, with mountain views and a little river close by. Children can play safely without direct supervision. There are musk-ox safaris nearby, and we even saw a few! :)

There was loads of space, with no other campervans parked close by. The toilets and facilities were very clean and worked well for families, and the kitchen had everything needed for cooking. A lovely little campsite. Thanks, we've saved the location and will be back as soon as we can.

Close to the E6 and magnificent Dovrefjell, this campsite works well for tents, campervans, or anyone looking for a cabin. The facilities were clean, with free hot water and showers, and the kitchen was equipped with what you need. If reception is closed, pick a spot and pay when it opens again in the evening. NAF members may get a discount.

The price was very fair, and the stay was pleasant. We were six people at Smegarden for one night. Check-in was easy, the room was clean, and the big couch helped make up for the small rooms. Our cottage had a little kitchen, plus there was a fully equipped one in the main building. The baths and bathrooms there looked lovely, though we didn't try the baths. They cost 10 NOK for 5 minutes.

Between the mountains, with a lovely view, a clean cabin, and a pet-friendly setup, this place felt like magic. That's all you need. Highly recommend. Greetings from Barbara, Harker and Bonnie :)
