Our reservation was for one night at Oppdal Alpintun, and we had received check-in instructions and a key-box code on the arrival date. But the apartment we were directed to was already occupied. We called the property several times and sent messages without getting a response, so we had to leave and drive on. That threw our weekend plans completely off. We paid in advance and are still waiting for the refund. They didn't even get in touch the following day. A terrible experience.

We stayed in the large apartment, 3D, and loved it. It was spotless, very comfortable, had excellent amenities and a gorgeous view. I'd definitely come back to the area.

At €140, the apartment is expensive, and the basics you'd expect for that price are missing. There are no sheets, and you have to clean the whole place yourself or risk a €200 fine. We were only passing through, so spending more than an hour cleaning was a real waste of time. They only tell you about this on the day you book. You'd think the price would at least cover cleaning and a simple sheet and towel. The apartment itself is okay, but that's about it.

The service was incredibly pleasant, and the duck for dinner was good. But the meal wasn't enough, especially with store-bought peas and mashed potatoes on the side. The portion was small, and the price didn't match the quality.
