The owner was friendly and funny to talk to, and the service was excellent. The houses are compact, accurate, and fully equipped, though towels and bed linen cost extra. The view over the lake, nearby waterfall, and snow-covered mountain cliffs was absolutely breathtaking. There are boats on the lake, and trout too. Checked! 👍 If you have the option, it’s a superb place to stay.

We were allowed to check in early, which was great. The cabin was perfect, with a little fireplace and a supply of wood. It made a gorgeous hideaway on a rainy day.

We stayed in a barrel cabin, and it couldn’t have been better. It was cozy inside, with beautiful views of the lake and snowy mountains. Each barrel had its own outdoor firepit and dining table, plus there was a shared outdoor kitchen. A perfect place close to Åndalsnes. Highly recommended.

Our cabin was clean, and the terrace gave us a nice view of the mountain. I was there with colleagues to climb Romsdalseggen, about 20 minutes from Åndalsnes city proper. I rented sheets for 100kr for the two nights I stayed. The kitchen had utensils, a kettle, a pan, and a full set of glasses, cups, and plates.
