The staff made the stay for me. They work hard to welcome every visitor and accommodate them, even if the hotel itself isn’t the most stylish. They deserve a full five stars for that. The place has a 70s retro look and reminded me a bit of the Shinning Hotel, in a good way. It felt like stepping into the past. The rooms are convenient if, like me, you’re mainly there in the evenings after a day outside. The setting is fantastic, with stunning views wherever you look and plenty of cross-country routes nearby. There’s a slope outside where beginners can practice. I spent most days skiing and relaxed in the evenings. If you arrive expecting a luxury hotel, you may be disappointed, but if you look into the place beforehand, you might be pleasantly surprised.

The common room has darts, billiards, table tennis, a small TV room, and a big cosy sofa area with around 20-30 seats for reading or board games. There’s no TV in the rooms and no restaurant. The building has seen better days, but the rooms are okay and everything works. Fair price, excellent location, and friendly hosts. It’s a great area for cross-country skiing in winter and early spring, and for trekking in summer.

We had the sports suite, and it worked well for us. The place is old and worn, though it could have been really cool. Without refurbishment, the overall impression just isn’t that good.
