Camp Lillehammer

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the place itself was excellent.

The room was bad and looked like a hospital. The pillow was dirty, and the locker was dirty too.

It’s very basic accommodation at a low price, but everything was clean and tidy. The cooking facilities make it practical for children. The owner was odd about a pair of sneakers I forgot: he first agreed to send them, then changed his mind because he didn’t like my rating of the place.

The location near the ski trails and the rooms with drying racks worked well for ski camps, with plenty of beds and a good place to dry wet clothes. But the host was rude, the kitchen had no instructions, and they scolded you if you did something “wrong.” The small kitchen’s dishwasher leaked, leaving the floor wet often. The electricity wasn’t set up well enough to run the stove and fan at the same time, and one toilet wouldn’t flush, so you had to use a bucket of water. The place needs renovation.
