The room was filthy, with dust, hair, and gravel everywhere. Breakfast was basically stale bread and ham, and there was almost nothing else. When we asked for more juice or butter, they said yes, but nothing had appeared even 30 minutes later. It was expensive too. Worst hotel stay I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else, you won't regret it.

We booked two rooms for four people. They were clean and dry, and the view was the kind you can't buy. This place isn't the Ritz, and you shouldn't expect anything posh, extravagant, or a spa. The amenities and price are in line with what you get. It's a well-priced place to stop on a road trip because of the location. You can rest and get fed if you're starving, which beats sleeping in the car and going hungry. After reading some reviews, I hope people think hard before trying to bankrupt a business with negative ones.

At check-in, the woman on staff was rude and unwelcoming. After Booking.com confirmed my reservation, I got a text from her saying check-in after 22:00 was absolutely impossible, though I'd booked the room at 19:00. I managed to arrive at 21:30, and she still wasn't welcoming. The next day I asked for half an hour extra before checkout. She said rudely that I had to leave by 11:00. I left the room at 10:45, but used their local shower until 11:15. She came and knocked on the toilet, saying I should have left before 11:00. The way she treated my wife and me was so bad I feel I should have called the police. I don't know why I didn't. I've travelled in every country in Europe and am a citizen of Sweden, but I've never seen that kind of behavior.

I booked a room, but it wasn't what I'd ordered and they couldn't provide what I'd paid for. When I asked if I'd get a refund if I cancelled, they said yes. I booked somewhere else, then they refused to return my money. They effectively took 1500 nok from me. The reviews are right, stay away from this scam of a hotel. They're closing down, so they don't care about negative reviews and are just grabbing cash now.
