The rooms are much more spacious than I expected, warm, and easy to get around in. Mine had a big, comfortable bed, a small sofa, table, desk, and TV. It felt practical and pleasant, though basic, and I think the layout could work for wheelchair users. The value for money was good. Sound carries a lot. You can hear everything from the neighbors, so the room gets a three from me for that. Service and staff each get four, and my overall rating is a solid four stars. It's important to set your expectations: this isn't a luxury hotel like one in Paris or Val d Isère. I judged it by the kind of hotel it is, what the village offers, and what the property promises, and it delivered on that. Thanks for a pleasant stay. I'd come back knowing what to expect and appreciating what the hotel offers.

This is a review from two years ago, when I wrote it. I made a new Google review focused account, which is why I'm reposting it. We stayed in one of the Cottages, and I was surprised by how clean it was. It's a little out of the way, though still reachable by car. The odd part was the night shift worker, who seemed confused and didn't really look like he knew what he was doing.

The staff were friendly, though the rooms are simple and have few facilities. The restaurant on site shuts early, but prepared food is available to buy. There are no restaurants within walking distance.

We spent the night here after downhill skiing in Målselv. It was a decent place to stay, though a bit expensive for what you get, which is just how it is in Norway. The area is nice for cross-country skiing in winter or hiking in summer, and the indoor swimming pool is very close.

Super nice hotel. You can borrow bikes or skis, or have a barbecue outside. There are options for getting in shape in the fresh air or indoors.
