Bergo Hotel, Apartments and Cottages

The rooms are spacious and have a good private bathroom, but they’re missing basics like a kettle and a fridge. The staff were helpful, though check-in is at another hotel, and breakfast is served elsewhere too. Parking on the hotel’s own grounds costs extra.

The chair lift is very close, and the staff there were friendly. Across the road there’s a great Spar, plus a pizza place that stays open late. Our room suited us well, and the TV and available channels were decent enough. I’d recommend it for families with new skiers who want to give skiing a try. Perfect 👌🏻

There was always plenty of hot water, much appreciated after a full day skiing. The apartment had a well-stocked kitchen, full-sized cooker and even a coffee maker, plus fabulous views across the valley. The downside is that you have to make your own bed when you arrive and carry your rubbish across the road to the skips. There’s no room maintenance during your stay.

It’s probably not the most modern block, but it did the job for our week and we had no complaints. I shifted the furniture to make the lounge more practical. A light bulb was out, so I went to the raddison, and it had been replaced by the time we got back. We had a lovely week.
