The cheapest room was basic, just as advertised, and I had no complaints about it. I stayed three nights at this characterful hostel, with incredibly beautiful scenery nearby. Everyone was friendly, especially Inaki, who was patient and accommodating when I had trouble with the oven. Breakfast is free from 7-10am, and coffee and cookies are served from 5:30-6:30pm.

The location is a bit pricier than staying in the centre, but better, with a bus stop and a little food shop close by. The hostel has a lot going for it: bag storage in the rooms, a playground, a gym, and a great breakfast with gluten-free choices. You can eat while looking out at a wonderful view. Staff were helpful, and being open from 3pm to 11pm was practical.

A kitchen with room to cook and store food is a real plus here. The location is especially handy for hiking in the mountains around Bergen, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are welcoming and friendly, so I felt at ease straight away. A really good place to stay, and I’d definitely return. 🤗

I was only here for a short trip, but it turned out to be a very pleasant stay. The shared kitchen is handy if you like making your own meals, and the location works well for exploring the mountains around Bergen. Rooms are simple, comfortable, and clean. The hostel has a relaxed feel, and the team were genuinely helpful and friendly. 🫶

It takes about 20 minutes by bus from the bus station, so you’re a little way out of town, but it’s worth the trip. The views are great, and there’s a welcoming atmosphere, a big kitchen, and plenty of room to hang out with others. The hostel is really clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I’d recommend it without hesitation.
