We spent 3 nights in the Hermanbua cabin. Getting checked in was easy, and the owner was really friendly. The quiet and the views are the kind of things that stay with you. There are plenty of walks you can start right from here, which is handy on a road trip when you don't want to keep driving everywhere. A supermarket is nearby, and the cabin has everything you need to feel at home straight away. Thanks for having us, Vesterålen Rorbuer!
The cabins are clean, cozy and so comfortable, and breakfast in the morning is incredible. There are great hikes right nearby, from the coastal trail to the peak, and beautiful beaches just a few minutes down the road. An amazing place to stay in Vesterålen!
The scenery was beautiful, and dining on the dock made it even nicer. Service was exceptional and the food delicious. The fish soup and fish burgers were out of this world!
The hosts are passionate and really committed to giving you the best experience, and the cabins are very well equipped. This is a fantastic, untouched gem off the tourist trail in Lofoten, tucked beautifully into the heart of a fjord. There's a great hiking trail that ends at a beach more beautiful than many of the better-known ones. Fishing is good too, from the sea to inland fly fishing. The northern Norwegian holiday experience here felt 10x nicer than at crowded beaches full of tents and campers.
Vesterålen rorbu is a fantastic, quiet place with beautiful nature and easy access to all sorts of things to do. There are top hikes, a coastal path, and plenty of outings, with shops nearby. Customer service was very good. Ambefalers
