The location is convenient for the city centre, and breakfast was a 7/10. The room issues, though, made this a poor stay. Our first room reeked of cigarette smoke. The only other room available was smaller and hadn't been cleaned properly: a deodorant was left in plain sight on the bathroom counter. There was no AC, and both outlets beside the bed were broken. We got a price adjustment for moving to the smaller room, but no other compensation.

I felt safe travelling here on my own, and the room was clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and helped with things like printing my boarding pass. The hotel is in a great spot, and the usual breakfast buffet had loads of choice. I especially appreciated that gluten-free and other allergen options were kept apart from the other food to prevent contamination. The packed lunch on my last day was disappointing, though I had to leave before breakfast was served. A chain and peephole on the door would let guests check who's outside before opening it. A fridge and kettle in the room would also be useful.

I had to charge my phone under the table, far from the bed, because there were no charging ports nearby. There was no Internet during my stay either. I was told it was due to elevator maintenance.
