We stay here when we come to Drammen to visit my husband's father. The location, comfortable bed, and breakfast keep bringing us back. Restaurants and the train station are all within a five-minute walk. The staff's service was very good, and our room was clean, with a comfortable bed and a clean toilet and shower. The breakfast buffet was great.

It's a good place to stay in Drammen, near the station, with public parking around and a garage beneath the hotel, though parking spaces are limited. The hotel is split across two buildings, so if your room is in the opposite building, you'll have to go outside to get to breakfast.

Breakfast had a great selection, and I was very satisfied with it. The room was clean, with a pretty good bed and a nice bathroom. It was easy to find, close to the train and bus stations, and taxis were everywhere.

The location was great and breakfast was very good, with lots of vegan options. But the customer service was terrible: I emailed about my booking around 10 times and got no reply before arriving. My room was tiny and very outdated, and it was in a building away from the main one. There was no kettle or coffee machine, just the bare minimum. The gym was too hot and not very clean. In my opinion, this didn't meet Scandic standards.

The bed was so soft that I felt like I was sleeping in a bathtub. The welcome was just as unpleasant. When we arrived, the receptionist was on the phone and didn't even nod at us. The barman came over and welcomed us, but once her call ended, she turned to her colleague and started talking without a word to us. I've worked in hotels, and this was the least warm welcome I've ever had. A very poor customer experience.
