The peaceful surroundings made this a great fit for our week away as a young couple. The place has lovely nature, a beautiful interior and exterior, kind staff, and everything we needed. Our room was near the bathrooms, and there’s a playground by the building. We also passed horses on the way to the train. Getting around was the main drawback. The bus or train station and a Kiwi shop were about a 20-minute walk, so reaching central Oslo took around 45-60 minutes by train. That was fine for us, though.

The shared kitchen was handy for our family, with plenty of table space to eat. Rooms were good too. Some have their own toilets and some don’t, but the shared facilities are very clean and easy to get to.

I liked the cozy feel and peaceful neighbourhood, and the staff were friendly. The shared living room and kitchen made it easy to meet other guests spontaneously. As a solo traveler visiting Oslo, I found the city accessible by taking a bus down the hill to Sandvika train station, then catching a train. The only real downside was having no supermarket within walking distance.

We were very happy here, and the scenery around the residence is lovely. The host was especially friendly and understood the difficulties travelers can run into, then actively helped sort them out. The rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen were all clean and well equipped. A bus ride of just five minutes takes you to sandvika station and the shopping mall; from there, trains and buses to Oslo city senter run several times an hour, which is very convenient. Highly recommend it for anyone wanting to stay near sandvika. Huang Ying`s family and relatives
