We stopped by this cozy café three times while traveling around Lofoten and tried a few different dishes. Every visit was good, and the food tasted just right. Remember to look for the “today's special” at the cashier.

We found this lovely old cottage open and welcoming when other places weren't ready for guests. The original interior gives it a distinctive, cozy feel. You can get a proper meal here, not just coffee: crispy battered cod and chips with great tartar sauce, fish burgers, and fresh salad. We'll definitely return for the food, the friendly chef, and the personal service.

The coffee was tasty, and my husband really enjoyed the cinnamon roll. I tried the much-talked-about coconut cake after reading the reviews. It was fine, though it didn't impress me much. The little café has an antique interior that feels a bit like sitting in your grandparents' living room, and you can also sit outside at the front or behind it.

The portions were generous enough and the prices affordable. We had fish and chips, stockfish pasta salad, and raspberry cheesecake, all home made by the humble owner and chef. The hot chocolate was amazing too. A cozy little café when you're looking for a good meal.

After a long stretch of traveling with a Trangia and cooking outdoors, this was just the place we needed. The daily dish that day was vegetable soup with pork, along with their homemade soup. It was perfect on a 3° day. The meal with bread was 165 kr per person, and I was satisfied.
