Grand Hotell Flekkefjord

Our four-bed family room had plenty of space, plus a little sitting area and a private terrace. The terrace looked onto the neighboring building, but we could still see the Norwegian mountains behind it. Inside, the room was clean, comfortable, and had what we needed for a good night's sleep, even if it didn't have the grandeur of the hotel's exterior. Breakfast was simple and satisfying, with fresh items topped up regularly. There wasn't a huge spread, but it was enough to start the day. We spent one night at the Grand Hotel in Flekkefjord, a charming and convenient stop right in the heart of town. There's a small parking area, though the spaces are pretty tight. The building has a historic feel and a bit of grandeur.

I ate at the hotel restaurant and really enjoyed the food. They serve locally sourced fish each day, and it was easy to tell how fresh it was. I'd definitely recommend the restaurant.

The room was on the small side, but very nice, and the bed was really comfortable. The hotel is beautiful and right in downtown Flekkefjord, so you can walk everywhere. The restaurant food was great, while breakfast was just okay. The staff were fantastic and so helpful, they made the stay worthwhile.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with a wonderful spread and great coffee. We enjoyed our stay so much that we'll definitely book here again when we return, and the helpful, welcoming staff were consistently there when we needed them. The rooms were clean, nicely furnished, and had comfortable beds. The location is great, though it's about a 10-minute walk from the bus station if you're not arriving by car. The Grand Hotel really lived up to its name. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
