A solid four star stay. The breakfast was great, and the location was convenient. Our view was either of the city or a rock wall. There’s a very nice restaurant for dinner.

Good walks, a children’s park, and a picnic area are nearby, with shops, restaurants, and cafes about 5 minutes away on foot. We stopped here for one night on the way to Bergen and it worked perfectly. The breakfast was great, the beds comfortable, the bathroom nice, and parking was free.

This hotel had the best value for money of anywhere we stayed on our trip from northern to southern Norway. The staff were so kind, the design was modern and lovely, and the breakfast included at the hotel restaurant was amazing. There’s also a whirlpool in the spa area included in the price. Its location near the centre of Førde gave us a wonderful view over the river and city. No bad experience at all.

The staff we met were all very nice, and there’s free basic coffee. We didn’t use any other services. The reception is large and comfortable, though the hotel itself feels a bit old and tired. Our fifth floor room was okay; there wasn’t a family room free, so they brought in an extra bed. The bathroom was small but did what we needed. Breakfast was included, with plenty of choice, though nothing special. No problems, just not very inspiring.
