Quality Hotel Fredrikstad

The staff were friendly and very accommodating, and breakfast was plentiful and very good. We also liked being within walking distance of the pier promenade, shops, and restaurants. The room brought the rating down. It was noisy and had no clock, phone, or ice bucket. There was only a half glass door in the shower, no curtain, so the floor got pretty wet. We can't say what the other rooms are like, and they may be better.

The staff were professional, friendly, and ready to help, which made the stay feel welcoming. I liked the contemporary, comfortable rooms, which were clean and well equipped, and made a peaceful place to unwind after exploring or working. The breakfast buffet had plenty of variety and good quality, from fresh pastries to local Norwegian delicacies. Quality Hotel Fredrikstad is right in the heart of the city, near local attractions, shops, and restaurants. Public transport is accessible too. It has the modern amenities, convenience, comfort, and service you'd hope for in an urban hotel, and seems a popular choice for both business and leisure travelers.

Breakfast and lunch were great, though not amazing, just what you'd expect from this kind of hotel. The staff were low key, and the hotel is clearly high quality. I'd easily stay again with my family. It's a short walk from the train, and Fredrikstad is an easy place to visit.

The food is the real highlight here. Breakfast and lunch buffets have a wide range of options, and dinner was great too. We had three courses, and every dish was delicious. Between conference calls, there’s coffee, fruit, cakes, and even an ice cream machine. The rooms are spacious enough and comfortable. Staff are courteous and friendly, and go out of their way to help. I highly recommend the hotel.
