The bar manager made this an awful visit. He was rude and arrogant with customers, spoke disrespectfully, and got aggressive over even small comments or concerns. That kind of conduct is shocking in a hotel bar, where basic courtesy and customer service seemed to mean nothing to him. I’d avoid the place while he’s in charge. It reflects terribly on the hotel.

The flats were clean, but they’re very worn and feel close to the end of their life. The sofa was completely beat up, the living room had small pillows, and everything felt old and shabby. At this price, I expected better.

We had a renovated, really nice room, and both the dinner buffet and breakfast were very tasty. The staff were so friendly and helpful. After a day out in the rain, we were even able to clean our bikes. We’d recommend this hotel!

The desk staff were welcoming, and breakfast had a good range, though some things were a bit bland. The dinner buffet, which cost over 50 euros, wasn’t very good. I paid over 200 euros for the cheapest room and expected a lot more. The rooms were old and run down, and the bathroom looked shabby, with open holes that really needed at least some putty. For that price, I could have paid half and had the same travel time to where I was going that weekend. Please renovate the hotel or lower the prices. Paying twice as much as elsewhere for a run-down place is ridiculous. The town was the only thing that saved the two-day stay, with the water park helping a little. It was also run down and short on information about entry and other details. There was a grill and bar inside, but no real control over guests. On Friday I found several glasses with drinks left around the hotel. This is supposed to be kid friendly, but adults were walking around with drinks they could set down anywhere. Sound insulation was nonexistent. We could hear drunk people shouting from three floors below as if they were right outside my door.

The room felt extremely old, with mysterious stains and marks on every wall. We had a broken light and a broken chair, and the bathroom seemed like it might have been nice in 1964, but now it’s musty and dated, with a board under the sink coming loose. The shower sprays water all over the bathroom, so there’s no way to use it without making a mess. It was sad to see that even the lobby bathroom had a nicer toilet than ours. This hotel has too many rooms to keep up with.
