Langnes Camping

The cabins were clean and basically fine, though the shower had a window right beside it with no curtain. We came hoping to spend one night in a cabin on our way north, arriving around 9pm after running late. I'd told the host, and Google said reception was open 24 hours, but only self check-in was available and there was no way to rent duvet covers. Then the text with the cabin entry pin never came through, so we had to call twice before reaching the host and getting it. Maybe it works better if you're in an RV.

A little hike and a beach are just around the corner, and the showers are clean and included in the price. I mostly needed a washer and dryer after two months on the road, but the quiet campsite was so restful that I stayed an extra day. Everything is easy to handle yourself, with card payment for services, so you don't have to keep going to reception to buy coins. Self check-in is simple too: enter your details, choose a site, pay, and you're set, even if you arrive at night. The reception staff were super friendly. When I got there in the morning it was nearly empty, so if you have things to do, come early. Highly recommended 😌🙌

We had plenty of room around our tent and weren't packed in close to other people, which made the stay even more peaceful. Everything was tidy and well cared for, with lots of WCs and showers. Such a lovely, cozy spot, and one we'd happily come back to.

I can't imagine four people managing to breathe comfortably in that room. It felt suffocating even for one person, and the bed was terrible. The young woman at reception seemed like she would rather be anywhere else, as though she was stuck choosing between working there and shoveling manure during the best part of her summer vacation. I'm sorry to leave such a review, but those rooms really are that suffocating.
