We had a spacious, comfortable apartment with everything well equipped. The private balcony and fjord view made it feel special. There's a handy Joker store on site for immediate needs, plus a restaurant if you'd rather eat out.

The apartment was large and had lots of useful facilities, including a sauna. The TV and wifi worked fine, and the central location was very quiet. There's a small place to swim nearby, as well as a klatre park and several shops. Parking A turned out to be free for us, though we're not certain, since we got no ticket. The other parking options cost 170 NOK, and reception never answered when I asked whether A was free. Finding things was confusing. The apartment name appears on two buildings, so it wasn't clear which one had reception. We had been told about the key, but couldn't find the locker box and had to call. Reception itself isn't visible, which could make it hard to locate. The bunk beds are quite high and have no support, so it was difficult for small kids to sleep on the upper one.

We stayed in cabin number 2. It was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the floor heating was excellent. The sauna felt small for a cabin meant for ten people. Noise from nearby cabins was tolerable, but guests should know about it in advance. Hemsedal and these apartments are often visited by large groups who can be rowdy and drunk. I wouldn't recommend this place for families with children looking for a quiet stay.

It's an affordable apartment right in the village centre, close to shops and the bus stop, with good hiking and cycling nearby. We had a bit of trouble finding reception. It's on the corner between Elmas Café and Tunet Sport.
